Arizona Opera - Arizona Opera has its roots in 1971 Tucson, where it was founded by a dedicated group of opera enthusiasts.  Arizona Opera’s educational offerings address lifelong learning through programs including lectures, a film series and the company’s cornerstone program.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, Arizona Opera brings their school tour and “Opera in a Box” programs to Santa Cruz County schools annually.


Arizona Theatre Company - Forty years ago, quality professional theatre for the people of Arizona was just a dream. Today ATC is recognized as one of the most dynamic theatres in the country.  It is the mission of the Arizona Theatre Company Education Department to be responsible for the introduction, education and incorporation of theatre into the lives of all members of the community.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, Arizona Theatre Company offers student matinees at the Temple of Music and Art and classroom master classes.


Hilltop Art Gallery– Since it’s opening in 1972, Hilltop Gallery has enriched the community by presenting over 20,000 works of art from both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border.

 


Patagonia Creative Arts Center - The Patagonia Creative Arts Association is a non-profit center that offers programming in all areas of the arts. Founded in 1999, Patagonia Creative Arts provides classes, workshops, and open studios for both children and adults.


Project ACCE Arts in Core Curriculum Education - In 2006, Santa Cruz County, in partnership with the County Superintendent of Schools office, community agencies, arts organizations, the local Weed and Seed Program, the SCC Design & Learning Center, and the SCC Tourism Council was awarded a Professional Development grant from the Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement, Professional Development for Arts Educators Program.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, Project ACCE supports artist-in-residency and professional development programs.


Santa Cruz County School Superintendent’s Office - The Santa Cruz County Superintendent of Schools provides administrative assistance to all school districts in Santa Cruz County and acts as a liaison to the Arizona Department of Education.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, the Santa Cruz County School Superintendent’s Office highly supports arts-for-learning programs for schools throughout the county.  In addition, customized artist-in-residency projects are supported by Aprendiendo por Vida GEAR UP, America Cares – Partnerships in Character Education and more.


Tubac Center of the Arts - Local artists and other community leaders founded the Santa Cruz Valley Art Association (SCVAA) in 1963. TCA has provided a venue for encouraging and attracting artistic activity.

 


Tucson Symphony Orchestra - The Orchestra’s first performance, on January 13, 1929, took place in the Tucson High School Auditorium. The Young People’s Concerts are presented by the entire Tucson Symphony Orchestra to elementary students and teachers.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, Tucson Symphony Orchestra offers Young People’s concerts at the Tucson Music Hall.


UA Museum of Art -  The UA Museum of Art is located on the University of Arizona campus.  Original works of art representing diverse cultures and a variety of subjects inspire enthusiasm for learning and invigorate the core school curriculum.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, UA Museum of Art offers guided tours of the museum and hands-on Art a la Cart classroom programs.


UA Presents - As a department of the University of Arizona, education is a primary goal of UApresents.  UApresents has served Southern Arizona for over 10 years.  Their nationally recognized School Matinee Program offers the performing arts experience to K-12th grade students.  Through the Young Audiences partnership, UApresents offers student matinees at Centennial Hall, teacher in-services, and principal’s forums.
